EIC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides information about important health and social issues to entertainment creators--such as television and feature film writers, producers, directors, et al.--and encourages them to use this information to depict health and social issues accurately so that audiences will be informed, rather than misinformed, through the entertainment they choose.
