Description

The University of Toledo Chapter of Engineers Without Borders-USA. The mission of EWB-USA is to complete engineering projects in developing nations; in keeping with this mission our chapter works in southern Honduras, completing mostly Water projects. For example, in April 2009 we installed a water distribution system to the impoverished village of Los Sanchez, Honduras in the Department of Choluteca. For the future we are looking at returning to Los Sanchez to complete smaller projects (such as irrigation or latrines) to compliment the water we brought there. We are also in the planning stages of our next water distribution project in La Barranca, another village nearby.
