Description

Located in the Kensington section of North Philadelphia, Empowerment Group (EG) was founded in 1999 to create economic opportunities for low-income Philadelphians. Our mission is to accelerate economic growth in distressed urban communities by cultivating local entrepreneurship. EG carries out its mission with two programs, the Philadelphia Entrepreneurship Program (PEP) and the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP).
