Empower the Paw: For the Love of Dogs Foundation:
Empower the Paw is a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois and is organized exclusively for such charitable purposes, distributing funds to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3)* of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. If the animal rescue group does not qualify as an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code it can still receive financial support but only indirectly and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The Foundation is organized to provide Financial support and assistance as needed for animal rescue groups and other organizations
Empower the Paw: For the Love of Dogs Foundation will meet its goals through engaging in fundraising activities to pay for veterinary costs, therapy and rehabilitation costs, food, medicine and other incidentals involved in animal rescue and rehoming activities. The fundraising activities will include, but will not be limited to, accepting donations from persons, groups and corporations, grants, auctions and partnerships with third party vendors, and other fundraising activities utilizing social media.
Additional activities for the Foundation to meet its goals will include educational programs and outreach for Puppy Mill awareness. Our foundation is committed to the following: promoting and supporting animal awareness and education, dog training, responsible pet ownership and spay and neuter programs to help reduce the number of dogs entering shelters.

ETP does not have any paid employees. We are an all volunteer organization.
