Description
Emmanuel Baptist Church is an inner-city church serving midtown Tucson, Arizona. The area is a very transient area with many single-parent families, low-income renters, and displaced people. Emmanuel is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. There is a large outreach to the homeless population of the area, including a weekly breakfast, a once-a-month activity which includes a free meal, movie, haircut, and laundry services. Additionally, a food pantry is maintained for those who need assistance.
