Emergency Communities is a new kind of disaster relief that seeks to fill gaps left by traditional relief models as a grassroots, non-profit, on-the-ground relief effort using compassion and creativity to assist not just with the physical and practical needs following a disaster, but the holistic and intangible, helping the community itself to find new hope and build anew.
