Description
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) zoo located in Norristown, Pennsylvania. We are a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariuma, the leading national accreditation program accepting only those institutions that have achieved rigorous standards for animal care, education, wildlife conservation and science.
Our exhibits feature endangered and rescue animals primarily from North America. We also offer a wide variety of educational programs, both at the zoo and at schools, senior centers, community organizations and other public facilities throughout the region.
Our funding comes from admissions, memberships and charitable contributions.
