Description
Ellen’s Run, a 5k (3.1 mile) race is an innovative, grassroots event that has achieved large-scale results toward meeting the Foundation’s goals. Held on the East End of Long Island where breast cancer rates are among the highest in the nation, Ellen’s Run draws on the strength of the local community and gives back to the community a substantial share of the money raised for local projects.
