Description
The Elizabeth Hospice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with administrative offices in the northern area of San Diego County, in the city of Escondido. Since our incorporation in 1978, our mission has been to provide medical, emotional and spiritual support to the terminally ill and their families, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disease, insurance status or ability to pay. In our 28 years of community service, we have served approximately 70,000 patients and family members. The primary goal of The Elizabeth Hospice is to enable the terminally ill patients we serve to live out their lives at home, with family and friends, pain-free, and with personal dignity. We do this by always striving to provide individualized high-quality end-of-life medical, emotional, and spiritual support to the terminally ill and their families. We strive to make the benefits of hospice care more readily available to all in our community.
