Elizabeth Bowers Zambia Education Fund

about

The Elizabeth Bowers Zambia Education Fund is a nonprofit organization created to provide education to girls from the Lumwana West village of Zambia in Africa. Elizabeth Bowers (1979-2002) shared her compassionate spirit with the people of Lumwana West as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Beth died in a bicycle accident while serving as a PCV in northwest Zambia, donating her organs to over 21 African recipients. The scholarship legacy sustains Beth’s vision of service and global awareness by empowering the women Beth admired so much to build positive change from within.
