Description

The Elise Joseph Foundation (EJF), is a public charitable, tax exempt, nonprofit organization under the 501C(3) IRS code. EJF serves the Haitian and Haitian-American communities through education, cross-cultural promotion, health promotion, and humanitarian relief. EJF services include educational seminars, "The Cultural Relations" radio program that addresses cross-cultural and other issues of concern EJF promotes health and wellness through its annual Haitian and Haitian-American health fair in October by facilitating service providers and other service organizations to address health disparities in this underserved, minority community. We also collaborate with U.S. organizations to bring services to Haitians in Haiti, Dominican Republic and Bahamas through our humanitarian relief services. The Elise Joseph Foundation does not discriminate as stipulated and prohibited by Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts and other federal, state and city regulations.
