Elderhostel is the preeminent provider of high-quality educational opportunities for older adults. We believe learning is a lifelong process, and that sharing new ideas, challenges and experience is rewarding in every season of life. Elderhostel seeks to promote healthy aging and enrich the lives of older adults through education. We aim to ensure that older adults have the opportunity to explore, continue to learn, and engage in intellectually stimulating discussions and activities while enjoying the companionship of like-minded peers. Road Scholar is the name for programs developed and offered by Elderhostel. Our programs bring together instructors and participants from diverse backgrounds to foster dynamic interaction, engaging discourse and warm camaraderie. We are committed to continually developing new program destinations, topics and formats that provide insight through hands-on experience and open discussions that stimulate the senses, energize the body and challenge the mind.
