Description
The El Paso Zoological Society is a charitable organization 501(c)(3), formed in 1963 to help the city of El Paso in expanding and upgrading and promoting the El Paso Zoo. Our financial support goes for capital improvements, animal aquisition and education programs for the zoo. Zoo education programing includes sponsorship of the Education Volunteers who annually provide thousands of hours on the zoo grounds and in and out of our community. Over 112,400 personal contacts at area schools, libraries other institutions and special programming atthe zoo occurred in 2005.
