The Hunters are on staff with EFCA ReachGlobal as full time missionaries in Costa Rica. They are the new Youth Directors of the International Youth Group (IYG) in Costa Rica, an AMCA ministry with an average of 50 students. The IYG is made up of Jr. and Sr. High missionary kids and other third culture kids. The Hunters' vision for the IYG is to foster life-on-life discipleship in order that students would develop and mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ (Col 1:28-29). They will be teaching the main weekly Bible lesson, leading Bible studies, working closely with volunteer and student leaders to facilitate small groups and personal growth, providing basic counseling for students, assisting parents, and living life alongside of the students. The IYG provides a support network for dozens of missionaries--parents of many of the students. Providing care for students helps foster longevity and stability in the missionary's life.
