Drew middle school ( as everyone local calls it) is getting shortchanged money wise. Now, I'm a student and i go to this school and notice all the things that we need. Yes, we just got new lockers but i believe that money was given to us as a pity gift and i don't think that is fair because our school is the oldest middle school around. It actually used to be a high school. ll the other schools were modeled after it and it has significant value to our county. Last year, kids were talking about how their parents went to this school. i don't show it alot but.......... I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. The hallways are old and the paint is coming off. We DESPERATELY NEED a new track. The gym floor could also be replaced. we need new equipment like basketballs and jerseys. You should see the attempt they made to make some sort of place for kids who just want to sit down when we go out for recess. It's basically a bunch of hunks nailed together.
