Description
The Eden Historical Museum is an initiative of the Eden Preservation Society. It is a private, not-for-profit museum, staffed completely by volunteers.
When all exhibits are completed in 2010, the museum will tell the history of what is now Eden, North Carolina, from Prehistoric times to the consolidation of Leaksville, Spray and Draper in 1967 to form one city, including: The Triassic Era, Saura Indians, William Byrd, the rivers, Leaksville Landing, the Civil War, textile mills, WWI, the Great Depression, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, people, places, events, and much, much more!
