Description
ECLC of NJ provides educational and charitable programs for children and adults with severe learning and/or language disabilities and other developmental disabilities, including neurological and cognitive impairments, Aspergers syndrome, autism and communication disorders. Our mission is to help this special population integrate into the communities where they live – at school, at home and on the job!
Our programs include two state-approved accredited nonprofit schools in Chatham and HoHoKus that provide special education and services to over 300 students from 11 New Jersey counties. We also provide frequent social/recreational programs for current students and alumni, an Adult Enrichment program for alumni, and a Supported Employment Program called Community Personnel Services (CPS) which facilitates finding suitable jobs for ECLC alumni as well as other developmentally disabled adults, and then provides the training and support necessary to enable them to succeed on their jobs.
