Description

Ebenezer was the first African-American Church established in this part of Northern Virginia. The Reverend Lewis Henry Bailey, a former slave and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church of Alexandria, Virginia, was the founder.
We provide tutoring in the afternoon, basketball camp in summer and a mentoring program for young men and ladies. We provide assistance with preparing college application and college scholarship applications. We assist students with summer job searches and application help.
We have established a preschool for ages 2 years to 5 years that teaches all be basic fundamentals of early childhood development. Many of our students have gone on to excel in their first year of public school.
We have a very active senior program. We provide weekly lunch and fellowship for our senior with a desire to increase the program to daily.
We have a program to periodically provide meals at the Prince William County Homeless Shelter and the Winter Homeless Shelter.
