Description
Eastern Shore Sanctuary provides a haven for hens and roosters who have escaped or been rescued from the poultry and egg industries or other abusive situations. We are also the only sanctuary to rehabilitate and reintroduce into our flocks, former fighting roosters from various cock-fighting raids. In addition to sheltering and advocating for chickens, we conduct research and perform community education aimed at diet change and agricultural reform.
