The Eagle Valley Land Trust (EVLT) is a local land conservation organization serving the greater Eagle County, Colorado region. EVLT's mission is to preserve forever our scenic vistas, open spaces, historic lands, waterways and wildlife habitats that represent the uniqueness of Eagle County for the enjoyment, education and benefit of all people who experience this special place. EVLT works with local landowners to conserve their land by using voluntary conservation easements to protect the conservation values of the land and save it from future development forever. Over its 30 year history, EVLT has participatred in the conservation of over 10,000 acres of land for the people of our community.
