The Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability enhances the long-term quality of life for citizens of Eagle County, Colorado by promoting a healthy natural environment, a prosperous economy, and equitable community.

Our vision is community in balance. We uphold economic and social sustainability through wise environmental choices. As 501(C)3 non-profit, the Alliance provides educational opportunities, information and services that advance sustainable practices in the areas of recycling, energy efficiency/renewable power, and green building.

Environmentalism once meant the economic price we pay for protecting our health and resources. We have realized, however, that a greater economic opportunity lies in sustainable and efficient environmental practices.

This realization has created whole systems approaches to how we design, build, regulate and live out our lives. These systems, in turn, create new economic opportunities for those communities that implement them.
