Description
Dwight is a small neighborhood school with an average enrollment of 220 students and a teaching/support staff of about thirty. Our students are from Kindergarten through 4th grade level with an average of 17-22 per classroom. We are located in Russellville, Arkansas which has a population of about 25,000. Having such a small school in a fairly large town allows us to maintain a hometown atmosphere, where everyone works together to achieve common goals for our students.
The goal of an overall team effort that includes students, teachers, support staff, PTA, Partners in Education, school board, and administration is to provide a warm, supportive environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and strengthened in all aspects of their lives whether it be academic or social.
