Description

We are a not for profit volunteer organization with a 501(c)3 status. Prefer not to send the tax id over the internet, but can supply it.

Goals are to act as support for Dvorak Park of the Chicago Park District.

We: Provide financial support in gaps between what is needed at the park from maintenance, to new equipment, kids sport uniforms, money for buses for field trips,. ..that the CPD annual budget does not meet.

Provide such support as organizing local businesses to fund annual Christmas parties to give gifts to community children.

Act as intermediaries between Dvorak & the CPD, in areas where outside prodding to obtain help may be needed.

Note: as the only park with a fieldhouse in the area, we also represent 3 playlots; Jefferson Park Playlot, Throop Playlot, and Guadalupe-Reyes Playlot.

The Dvorak Park area is mainly low-income & can use any help w/ fundraising.
