Description
Del Valle High School is a Title I school that is located in Central Texas. The SHOC (Students Helping Our Community) Club is a group of dedicated students and teacher sponsors that are working to make direct change in our community through service learning. Students commit time outside of school to service their community though various projects, including a campus garden, charity walk/run benefits, community festivals and carnivals, food drives, and much more. We are raising funds to keep our garden maintained and to launch a farmer's market. Additionally, funds will be used to provide transportation for students to an from service learning events.
