Dunia Marketplace is a not-for-profit Fair Trade store. We operate in order to provide vital, fair income to people from developing countries by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America. The income realized by selling the crafts helps pay for food, education, health care and housing. We are a Store with a Story and the stories we tell are meant to help those who hear us understand how their purchases and consumption habits impacts those living in developing countries.
The store has been in operation since November 1995 and was formerly named Ten Thousand Villages Boise.
