Description
The Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization is based out of the Jacksonville, FL and comprised of 70 - 100 talented, young and aspiring musicians ranging in age from 12 – 22. While the main goal of these young musicians is to achieve their educational best through the musical opportunities afforded them by drum corps, they return home after the summer tour as better leaders and pillar students within their communities.
When the members of Teal Sound are not performing at competitive shows, they are enduring intensive and demanding character building practices of nearly thirteen hours a day and extensive travel in bus and truck convoys; all this while sleeping on high school gym floors.
