Description

The Dripping Springs Band Booster organization is a non-profit, 501(c)3 public charity founded in 2001 whose purpose is to support the band programs of the Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD). Support is accomplished both through direct volunteer service at band events and through fundraising initiatives to provide core program support to our various bands. The Booster organization is comprised of parents and community members who donate their time and talents in support of the band program.

The community of Dripping Springs is located about 20 miles west of Austin, Texas in the Texas hill country. The school district has a student population of approximately 4,000. Over 370 students in grades 6 -12 participate in the district band program which presently includes two Symphonic Bands, Two Concert Bands, two Jazz Bands, two Beginner Bands, a Marching Band and Color Guard.
