The Dreyfus Health Foundation and its affiliates implement programs that serve as catalysts for better health worldwide by emphasizing individual and group responsibility at the community level. DHF provides people within targeted communities with the confidence, knowledge and skills that enable them to define, prioritize and identify local solutions to thier own challenges and circumstances.
To date, more than 30,000 people have become participants in our Problem Solving for Better Health program and have generated some 20,000 active and completed projects for better health and life. Millions of people have benefited from projects covering a wide array of topics: maternal and child health, infectious disease treatment and prevention, micro-enterprise, STD awareness and prevention, and water sanitation and availability.
The Dreyfus Health Foundation operates in almost 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and the United States.
