Established in 1990, Dreampower Animal Rescue Foundation (DARF) is a non-profit organization providing homeless animals another chance at life. Our mission is to find permanent homes for animals in need, providing temporary care and shelter for animals in emergencies. Since our founding, we have aided dogs, cats, donkeys, potbelly pigs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, ferrets, birds, turtles, and geckos—and just as important, we have aided the people that care for them. DARF promotes a Commitment for Life™ between the pet and pet family. We strive to ensure the best-in-fit practices through a proven quality assurance interviewing process with the future pet family or owner. Dedicated to our Commitment for Life practices, DARF maintains an indirect participate to the animals future welfare needs—now extending into the South Pacific. We further bolster our goals through animal welfare education on a state level by educating communities throughout the Colorado.
