Description
The Down Syndrome Association of Memphis & the Mid-South is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to support and empower people with Down syndrome and their families. The DSAM provides information for families of newborn babies with Down syndrome, hosts training, educational and social events, publishes a regular newsletter, assists parents in attending local and national conferences, partners with other disability groups to sponsor conferences, provides a networking outlet to families, and advocates for the rights of individuals with Down syndrome.
