Description
The Dove Center is a private, non-profit agency, providing services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Those services include emergency shelter, hotline, group and individual counseling, advocacy and accompaniment, information and referral, 9-1-1 cell phones, and a Speaker's Bureau. The agency also provides group counseling to perpetrators of domestic violence. The agency's mission is to empower victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, to develop a sense of self-worth and to take control of their lives, as well as to promote and foster public awareness of those issues.
