Donation Store is a 501(c)3 not for profit public charitable organization, where donors can 'shop' various causes on www.donationstore.org. They 'purchase' the item by donating their funds, and then our organization purchases the item in bulk from manufacturers, distributors, or vendors at the end of campaigns.
Each cause supports the public, one example is backpacks and school supply kits for underprivileged children in Detroit, Michigan. Donation Store has just started operations and does not have a determination letter from the IRS, but is still a tax exempt organization as it is under $5,000 in gross receipts at this time and serves as a public charity.
