Description
Dominican Volunteers USA recruits, trains, places, and supports 10-20 adults annually for a year of service at nonprofits/schools across the nation. Volunteers serve as teachers, tutors, job developers, nurses, caseworkers, and they do all this in homeless shelters, soup kitchens, afterschool programs, and community centers. As a faith-based program, volunteers live off of $100/month (plus modest room/board) and live with Dominican sisters/friars in the spirit of St. Dominic de Guzman.
