Description
The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Inc. (DAP) seeks to prevent domestic violence and to provide services that meet the needs of victims. DAP supports an empowerment process, which enables victims to move toward self-sufficiency.
Through the Agency's 24-hour hotline, supportive counseling, legal representation, assistance in seeking protection from abuse orders, emergency shelter and transitional housing, criminal court accompaniment, medical advocacy and community outreach and education, DAP staff members work tirelessly to intervene on behalf of domestic violence victims and their children.
For the past 30 years DAP remains the sole provider of preventative and intervention services for victims of domestic violence and their children in the 49 boroughs and townships of Delaware County, PA.
