Disability Rights Oregon is a 501(c)3 that promotes Opportunity, Access and Choice for individuals with disabilities. Founded in 1977, we address legal problems directly related to individuals’ disabilities, promote public policies that improve the lives of people with disabilities, and monitor conditions in public and private facilities. All of our services are confidential and free of charge. We seek a society in which all people are *Safe from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination and isolation *Treated with respect and dignity *Provided age-appropriate services that promote lifelong learning, growth and development *Free to exercise self-determination in daily routines and major life events *Fully integrated in their communities, with ample opportunity for leadership and professional development *Independent and self-sufficient, with access to quality services and supports
