Description
The Dialogue Project builds mutual trust and compassion and establishes partnerships across inter-group divisions through transformative dialogue programs.
The Project creates the opportunity for all New Yorkers -- Palestinians, Israelis, Jews, Muslims, new immigrants, long-time citizens and others of many ethnicities and faiths -- to explore differences and commonalities through dialogue in which truth-telling and open-mindedness are valued. We name the unnamed, speak the unspoken, and become enriched by our diversity.
Dialogue programs empower marginalized voices and challenge all participants to listen actively and generously to the perspectives and experiences of others. Through dialogue, we share personal narrative, develop ideas, clarify beliefs, and learn techniques to facilitate conversation around difficult topics.
