Description
Development In Gardening (DIG) is a non-governmental organization that is addressing the nutritional needs of People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in developing countries. The focus of our activities will be placing vegetable micro-gardens in AIDS hospitals and orphanages. We will install these gardens in urban AIDS institutions that are having trouble providing the necessary nutrition to their patients. Additional work will be done in relationship with extending the micro-garden technology and techniques to outpatients, staff, caregivers and groups supporting PLWHA.
