We are a Waldorf Inspired Charter Elementary School in Cornville, Arizona.
The Waldorf approach to learning is experiential, multi-sensory and emotionally engaging. Desert Star’s waldorf curriculum is enhanced by Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences that recognizes children learn in a variety of ways which include linguistic, logical, musical, spatial, kinesthetic, social and environmental. Our educational program focuses on academics that include sustainable environmental stewardship and multi-cultural experiences.
