Description
The Lighthouse Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that works to preservae historic Delaware lighthouses and to educatie the public about the State's role in American lighthouse history. The Foundation owns and is preserving the 100+ years old Harbor of Refuge, an offshore lighthouse that sits in the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of Delaware Bay. (If you think a boat is expensive, try maintaining an offshore lighthouse.) However, as a small, all-volunteer organization, we are able to put almost 100% of our donations directly into our mission.
