Description

The DAB is a private non-profit 501 (c) (3) agency serving legally blind and severely visually impaired adults and children in Delaware. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve through a variety of education, counseling and recreation programs. We operate a Low Vision Products Center offering a large variety of items that make life easier for someone with impaired vision. Our programs are primarily funded through private contributions.

DAB is a United Way Affiliate Agency and is a member of the National Council of Private Agencies for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Camp Sunnybrook is a free six-week day summer camp serving dozens of blind and visually impaired children ages 5-16.

Landis Lodge is a free residential camp for blind and visually impaired adults. Each summer about 40 visually impaired adults enjoy a wide variety of trips and activities.
