Description
Deep is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting literacy education in Savannah, Georgia. Our goals are:
• to help students, aged 8-18, develop their writing skills;
• to encourage their voices as students, citizens, and artists;
• and to help teachers get their students excited about writing.
The method is simple: we connect dedicated volunteers with Savannah’s youth and provide them with private administrative and curricular support as they teach, inspire, and challenge our young people in free after-school creative writing workshops.
