Description

The Day School was established in 1943 by a dedicated philanthropist, Mrs. Elizabeth Andrews, when she converted her Uptown mansion into a school for struggling students who were cast out of traditional academic settings. The Day School currently serves over 80 students from the Chicago area who have additional educational needs that were unable to be met in the public school setting. The Day School is fully accredited with the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
