Description
The Dance Council of North Texas (DCNT), a 501c3 non-profit founded in 1973, serves, supports and promotes all aspects of dance and encourages the dynamic presence of dance in the community. DCNT provides artistic, educational and cultural opportunities to people of all ages, races and abilities through dance festivals, master classes, scholarships, professional recognition, adaptive dance programs, collaborations and partnerships. DCNT is an organization of professional and non-professional dance companies, independent artists, teachers, performers, movement specialists, students, dance enthusiasts and businesses. The Dance Council provides services primarily to the North Texas area and greater access across the nation primarily through electronic media.
