Damar Services mission: We build better futures for children and adults facing life's greatest developmental and behavioral challenges.

The birth of a child with autism or related developmental disabilities has a profound, lifelong effect on parents and families. They need support from relatives, friends, medical professionals and community organizations as their son or daughter with special needs grows and develops. For the past 40 years, Damar Services has cared for children and adults that most disability service providers are either unwilling or incapable of serving—those with dual diagnoses of a severe developmental disability coupled with significant behavioral challenges. By enhancing residential services with progressive therapeutic programs, educational initiatives, and recreational opportunities, more than 90% of the more than 500 individuals served by Damar annually achieve greater levels of independence.
