The mission of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra is “to entertain, inspire and change lives through musical excellence.” Founded in 1900, the DSO has grown into the largest and oldest symphony in the Southwest, serving more than 240,000 adults and 60,000 children, through quality and highly innovative performances, programs and community outreach services.
