Description
D-S Rescue’s mission is two-pronged: The most immediate priority is providing a safe haven for unwanted, neglected, and abused animals; rehabilitating them; and finding them permanent, healthy homes. The other, equally vital part is preventing the need for animal rescue by educating people about animals’ needs and how to properly care for animals. Central to D-S Rescue’s educational message is the importance of spaying and neutering. D-S Rescue offers animal care classes, animal therapy programs, a volunteer program, and other hands-on opportunities for people to learn about their animal companions.
D-S Rescue is committed to helping animals in need and to educating our community on the proper care for animals. We provide a safe refuge for dogs, cats, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and other domestic animals, first helping them to heal both physically and mentally, and then finding them safe, stable permanent homes.
