The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit organization that protects, shelters and adopts homeless animals. CVAS is the contact agency for lost and found pets, as well as emergency rescue, and cruelty investigations of animals. We place adoptable pets with responsible owners and provide humane education. CVAS works to reduce uncontrolled animal breeding through our spay/neuter program. We also work to reunite lost pets through our microchipping program.
CVAS serves approximately 100,000 people and takes in an average of over 2000 animals every year.
