Description
Culture Works is Greater Dayton's leading arts service agency. Incorporated in 1993, Culture Works was created through the merger of two long-established Dayton organizations: ARTSDAYTON and the Miami Valley Arts Council.
As a leader in arts and cultural development, Culture Works provides the single largest source of private funding for the arts in greater Dayton. In addition, Culture Works provides valuable resources to a variety of arts and cultural organizations, including arts management training, promotional services, and arts education advocacy.
Through a unique public/private partnership with the Montgomery County Arts & Cultural District (MCACD), Culture Works administers the county's annual Special Projects and individual Artist Fellowship grant programs
