Description
Crossroads Community Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to move homeless people toward self-sufficiency. The organization was formed in 1997 as a merger of Angels Over Atlanta and the St. Luke's Soup Kitchen, which was started in 1973 by St. Luke's Episcopal Church in downtown Atlanta.
We offer several initiatives to help the homeless. These include:
The Renewal Project, a three-month self-sufficiency program.
Angels Over Atlanta, help for the homeless who are physically disabled or mentally impaired
Crossroads Kitchen, a daily hot meal for 275
Atlanta Cooks, a 3-month food service training program.
Guest Volunteer Corps, a work/responsibility program.
The Courtland Street Mission, a Bible study and counseling program.
A mailroom for those with no address
The Help Office, for housing, employment, legal issues, clothing, etc.
