Description

Crossing the Jordan is a local nonprofit that is bringing hope to women and children in need in Sonoma County. It is our mission to provide housing for mothers that seek to transform their lives.

There are women and children suffering all around us, everywhere; lost, victims of domestic violence, sexual trafficking and exploitation, drug addicted, homeless and those being released from prison that pray earnestly to find a way to be reunited with their children.

Where will they go to heal? How can they get off the streets, out of dangerous situations, away from their abusers or drugs? Where can they go with their children that also need to be healed? Each of them simply broken hearted, waiting for someone to reach out a hand of hope. It is our deepest desire to seek out the broken hearted, to meet them in their place of hopelessness, to remind them they have a future and a purpose.

That is how we impact our communities. This is how we change a generation.

Currenty we operate a thrift store in Santa Rosa, California that is run by volunteers. The proceeds from the store fund our womens and childrens home that currently houses eight women, three children full time and five children who are in the home part time.

We would sincerely appreciate your participation in our program as we are opening a second womens and childrens home in the coming months.

We are a 501 (c)(3) chairity and all donations made to our organization are tax deductable.
